Plant at the right depth: - Small bulbs (crocuses, grape hyacinths): 3-4 inches deep. - Medium bulbs (tulips, daffodils): 6-8 inches deep. - Large bulbs (lilies, dahlias): 8-10 inches deep. 3. Plant in clusters: Plant multiple bulbs together for a fuller display. 4. Plant with the right orientation: - Tulips: Plant with the flat side up. - Daffodils: Plant with the pointed end up. - Other bulbs: Plant with the pointed end up. After Planting 1. Water well: Water bulbs after planting and during dry spells. 2. Fertilize: Feed bulbs with a low-nitrogen, high-potassium fertilizer. 3. Mulch: Apply a layer of mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds. 4. Deadhead: Remove spent flowers to promote re-growth. Care During Growing Season 1. Water regularly: Keep soil consistently moist during growing season. 2. Provide support: Stake tall bulbs to prevent flopping. 3. Monitor for pests: Watch for rodents, deer, and other pests.
